In House Scholarship Announcement
The Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) is pleased to announce the availability of a fully funded scholarship in the following program:
Master of Science in Clinical Counselling/ Counselling Psychology/MA in Counselling/Master of Counselling – 1 slot
This is ONLY for the full-time faculty members from the constituent faculties of KGUMSB.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a full-time Faculty member of the KGUMSB
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Counselling
Additional eligibility criteria, as specified below:
Interested applicants from KGUMSB may kindly submit the following documents to the HR Division– Office of the President, Taba Campus by 22nd September 2025 by 5:00 pm.
- Application for the scholarship (Addressed to the President of KGUMSB)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Academic Transcripts and Certificates
- Performance Rating as reflected in the Condition of Services – 2025
- Recommendation letter from the Head of the Faculty
- Training Certificates (if any)
- Security Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)
- Audit Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)
- A copy of Bhutanese Citizenship Identity Card
- A copy of Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a competent RGoB medical doctor in the format provided in the General Information Document.
- Merit/Other certificates (if any)
Note:
- The selected candidate should seek admission from the reputed Universities offering the courses in India or Thailand.
- The selected candidates should inform KGUMSB about the admission within six months of the scholarship being granted, after which it will be considered cancelled or be allotted to the next standby candidate.
- The terms and conditions stated under Long Term Training in the Conditions of Services – 2025 shall be followed.
