The NutriHubs4NCDs project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union under the Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) action, was launched during the kick-off meeting in Athens, Greece (6–8 April 2026), bringing together KGUMSB, RUB, the NGO–Research Centre in Bhutan, and European partners from the University of West Attica, Greece.

The meeting focused on operationalizing the consortium by aligning on project objectives, deliverables, timelines, governance, financial management, and reporting requirements in line with Erasmus+ CBHE guidelines.

Participants also visited academic and research facilities, including nutrition, microbiology, and food science laboratories and modern teaching environments, supporting knowledge exchange and institutional capacity strengthening.

This marks the formal start of project implementation towards sustainable outcomes in higher education and public health.
