VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) is pleased to announce the following vacancies.

2	MSc/PhD in Bioinformatic with minimum of three years of clinical laboratory experience. Competency in biological data analysis and relevant bioinformatics tools.	1
3	MSc/PhD Clinical Biochemistry with minimum of three years clinical laboratory experience. Good practical skills in biochemical investigations and laboratory quality control.	1
4	Masters/PhD in Clinical Counselling with minimum of three years of clinical counselling experience.	1	Regular
Biostatistician (PL7/6/5/4), MECRIT, Office of the President, KGUMSB
5	Degree/Master/PhD in Biostatistic, demonstrated experience in applied health research	1	Regular
Assistant Tutor II/I (PL 9/8), Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine, KGUMSB
6	Class XII with Diploma in medical laboratory Technology with minimum of three years of work experience in relevant field	1	Regular
Plumber (PL12/11/10/9), Office of the President, KGUMSB
7	Class XII with 1 year certificate/Class XII with diploma in plumbing	1	Contract for 6 months
Caretaker (PL19), Faculty of Traditional Medicine, KGUMSB
8	Applicants must be age of 18 to 45.	1	Regular. Basic reading and writing skills would be an added advantage.

The three positions (sl no. 1, 2 and 3) are generalist MLS teaching positions and applicants must submit a expression of interest teaching statement (maximum 2 pages) listing the subjects or topics competent to teach, mapped to the BSc Medical Laboratory Science curriculum and may also indicate subjects are willing to develop. For each subject, applicants should indicate their proficiency level:

• Can teach independently
• Can co-teach
• Familiar

2. Curriculum Vitae with two referee contact details (Name, Email and Phone Number)
3. Academic transcripts and Course Completion Certificates (CL X, XII, Diploma, Degree, Masters/PhD)
4. Relevant training certificates to the post (if any)
5. Evidence of employment (if any)
6. A copy of a valid Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a competent Medical Doctor
7. A copy of valid Security Clearance Certificate
8. A copy of valid Citizenship Identity Card (Both sides)
9. A copy of Valid Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed
10.  Merit/Other certificates (if any)
11. One recent passport-size photograph
12. One legal stamp

Note:

●      Short-listed applicants will be informed about the selection interview through the university website.

●      An applicant shall be disqualified from appearing in the selection interview if he/she has failed to furnish testimonials as required above.

●      The university reserves the right not to select applicants if University do not get appropriate applicants for the post.
