The short-listed applicants for the approved positions as mentioned above should report to HR Division, Office of the President for verification of following documents: –

  1. Original academic transcripts and certificates
  2. Security Clearance Certificate
  3. Audit Clearance Certificate
  4. Citizenship Identity Card (Original)
  5. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer, if employed
  6. Documentary evidence of the current position level, if employed

The selection process will be as per the following schedule:

  1. Verification of original documents for Assistant HRO and Faculty
    • Time: 9:00 AM
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB
    • Date: 30th December 2024
  2. Presentation Preparation (For Assistant HRO)
    • Time: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
    • Venue: Conference Hall, KGUMSB
    • Date: 30th December 2024
  3. Presentation and Viva Voce (For Assistant HRO)
    • Time: 11:00 AM Onwards
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB
    • Date: 30th December 2024
    • The scenario/topic for the presentation will be given on the spot.
    • Time allotment as follows:
      • Preparation of presentation: 1 hour
      • Presentation and Question and Answer: 10 minutes
      • Viva Voce: 10 minutes
  4. Written Examination (For faculty positions only)
    • Time: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
    • Venue: Conference Hall, KGUMSB
    • Date: 30th December 2024
    • Written examination will be assessed out of 100 marks. The result for written examination will be uploaded in the KGUMSB website (www.kgumsb.edu.bt) by afternoon (on or before 1:00 PM).
    • An applicant must secure a minimum of 60% in written examination to qualify for the viva voce.
  5. Viva Voce (For faculty position if qualified)
    • Time: 4:00 PM onwards
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB
    • Date: 30th December 2024
    • Viva voce will be assessed out of 100 marks
    • 15 minutes for each candidate
  6. Final calculation of marks (100) shall be as follows:
    • Presentation/Written Examination will be assessed out of 50
    • Viva voce will be assessed out of 30
    • Shortlisting marks will be assessed out of 20

An applicant shall be disqualified from appearing in the selection examination and interview if he/she fails to furnish testimonials as required during the time of verification and the slot will be allotted to the next applicant.

The University regrets to inform that the Ministry of Finance vide letter No. DPBP/Social-Cluster Division/KGUMSB/2024-25/673 dated 6th December 2024 has not approved the recruitment of the following positions.

The intervention of Ministry of Finance was to conduct Organizational Development Exercise and explore other alternative mechanisms to deploy human resources. As per the recommendation of the 17th Governing Council held on 20th December 2024, the University is required to comply with the directives of MoF. Therefore, the recruitment process for the above positions has been cancelled.
