Mr. WaNCHuck

Mr. Wangchuk is an Assistant Professor and former Deputy Dean of the Department of Public Health and Allied Health Sciences, at FNPH, Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB). He currently teaches public health related subjects including health research, epidemiology, project management, NCDs, and Sexual and Reproductive Health including HIV/AIDS. He completed his Master in Public Health from the Royal Tropical Institute, KIT, Amsterdam, Netherlands in September 2015. His area of interest is in the field of child development, NCDs, SRH and gender issues. He has several scientific publication in the national and international peer-reviewed journals as first and second author and also presented papers in the national and international conferences. He is also serving as the reviewer for the Institutional Research Board of KGUMSB.

Mr. Wangchuk is actively involved in several collaborative research projects in the areas of child development and HIV and AIDS with Uppsala University, Sweden, and Yale University, USA respectively. In addition, he is the project led and project manager for the ongoing Strategic Support for Accreditation of Programs and Internationalization at South Asian Higher Education Institutes (SSAPI) project funded by the Ersamus+ Programme of the European Union (https://ssapi-project.net/)
