Background
Kuenzang (He/Him) is a lecturer and a Program Leader (PL) for Nursing under the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, FNPH, KGUMSB. As PL, he looks after the nursing students at different level of the course. He has a field experience of over 17 years as Staff and clinical Nurse in various hospitals across the country prior to joining FNPH in mid-2019. He served his entire career as a Nurse In-charge. Mr Kuenzang completed his General Nursing Midwife from FNPH the then Royal Institute of Health Sciences (RIHS). Believing in continuing education and as lifelong learner, he pursued and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Midwifery from FNPH in 2016. Following this, he completed his Master of Science in Research Ethics (MScRE) from Yenepoya University, Mangalore, India, in 2022. Currently, Kuenzang is involved in teaching Research Ethics to various pre-services and in-services nursing students as well as to the students of allied health sciences. He also teaches fundamentals of nursing, nursing law and ethics to students taking community health, medical technology, and nursing course at FNPH. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Editor of Bhutan Health Journal. He is also the member of the Institutional Review Board of KGUMSB since 2022. Mr Kuenzang has research papers published in the peer reviewed national and international journals as principal and co-author. His is interested to pursue more research undertakings in the field of research ethics.
