FNPH, in collaboration with JICA, RH Program, MoH and MCH, JDWNRH organized MCH FAIR at GJPMCH. The midwifery faculty, BSc NM 4th year students and professionals from the various department participated to provide advocacy and awareness on MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH topics. The following were the themes: information booth (preconception care, nutrition in pregnancy, danger signs in pregnancy and for newborn, MMS, immunization). The nutrition booth aims to initiate responsive, safe and healthy complementary feeding practices.
The birth spacing booth aims to inform couple to plan and space the birth for healthy mother and child health outcomes.
The telemedicine booth demonstrated the use of iCTG and informed the public about the importance of iCTG in preventing neonatal and maternal complications.

Breastfeeding Booth

  • to educate mothers and families on correct breastfeeding techniques.
  • to increase awareness on common breastfeeding complications and their management.
