 Aims and Objectives

  • To promote spirit of games and sports in the faculty.
  • To promote health and wellbeing through physical activities
  • Keep students engaged and refrain from harmful behavior.
  • To prevent lifestyle and behavior related NCDs.
  • Develop interpersonal relationships through sports.

FNPH Inter-Class Futsal Tournament

In accordance with the institute calendar Inter- class or inter-category Futsal Tournaments are organized every semester. Both men and women category take part in the tournament.

FNPH Khuru Tournament

Khuru Tournament is organized according to semester calendar. Khuru tournament is played across the faculties of KGUMSB with an aim to engage and interact among students, students and staff and staff to staff.

Basketball Tournament

In accordance with the institute calendar the Basketball Tournament is organized every semester. The game is played inter-category or inter-classes. Both man and women category take part in the tournament.

Volleyball Tournament

In accordance with the institute calendar Basketball Tournament is organized either inter-category or inter-classes both men and women teams takes part in the tournament.

Karate Tournament

FNPH also take part in other games and sport whenever the organizing committee or organizations invite to take part. One such activity the FNPH actively participate and earn medals is inter-colleges Karate tournament which organized by Bhutan Karate Association. Both boys and girls take part in the competition.

Annual Marathon 2017

The faculty marathon is organized annually in the month of May before the start of semester examination. This is held as annual event with the main aim of promoting healthy lifestyles through physical activities like running and jogging to prevent lifestyle related diseases NCDs. Further, such activities aim to set role model to the other institutions towards promoting healthy lifestyles.
